The short version: AllVibe stores the account you create and the taste you put on record, uses a handful of trusted services to run the app, and doesn't sell your data to anyone.
Account data — your email, your @username, an optional display name, an optional avatar you upload, and your password (stored only as a secure hash by our auth provider). If you sign in with Google we receive your email and name from Google; we do not import your Google photo.
Content you create— cards (grades), reasons, challenges and counters, likes, reactions, trades, follows, crowd memberships, profile love, and your activity in live sessions (votes, why's, reactions and items you add to a room). If you buy Vibes, we keep your purchase and spend history — never your card details, which go directly to Stripe.
Before you sign up— grades you cast as a guest are held only in your own browser's storage; they reach our servers when you create an account and they join your board.
Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging. We use cookies only to keep you signed in — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
AllVibe is a public taste platform. Your profile, @username, display name, avatar, crowds, cards, reasons and debates are visible to anyone unless you set your profile to private (then cards and reasons are visible only to people you follow). Live sessions are shared rooms: your votes, why's and reactions there are visible to the room, and ended rooms stay viewable with their recaps. Your email is never public. Trades are private between the two participants.
To run the product: showing your cards, powering search, boards, notifications and trades; keeping you signed in; preventing abuse; and fixing bugs. If you use AI reason suggestions, the item's title and your chosen tier are sent to our AI provider to generate suggestions — never your personal details.
We run on a small set of processors: Supabase (database, auth, file storage), Vercel (hosting and logs), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), Anthropic (for AI features that read your own grades and reasons, like reason suggestions and your board's portrait), Stripe (payment processing — your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers; we keep only your purchase and spend history) and Resend (transactional email). Item metadata is fetched from TMDB, Spotify, Last.fm, AniList, Comic Vine, IGDB and YouTube — those requests are about the items, not about you.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not run ads.
We keep your data while your account exists. In the app you can remove a grade nobody has engaged with, archive any card, delete your freeform cards entirely, and edit or delete your why's and challenges. To delete your whole account and its content, email us and we'll remove it within 30 days (as described in the Terms, a grade other people have engaged with may survive as an anonymous data point with your words removed). Some minimal records (like server logs and payment records we're required to keep) expire on their own schedule.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Email us and we'll make it happen — no forms, no dark patterns.
AllVibe is not for children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live). If we learn an account belongs to a child, we'll delete it.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll surface it in the app. The date at the top always tells you when it was last touched.
